Nordic Fellowship in Clinical Radiology
The aim of this fellowship is to increase the Nordic cooperation.
Deadline for application for Fellowship 2012 was November 15, 2011.
The fellowship applies to a visit for one week at a radiology department during 2012. The target groups for this fellowship is the resident under training for board certificate in radiology or new specialist / subspecialist.
During a period of 5 years after a board certificate as radiology specialist it is possible to submit an application. The fellowship only applies to clinical auscultation.
The applicant shall submit to the President of the Nordic Society of Medical Radiology, Erkki Svedström (svedstre@mac.com) a CV, a brief explanation regarding the cause fo the visit (maximum one A4) and an approval from his/her chairman and, if available, also from the receiving hospital.
If the applicant has not found a host clinic, the Nordic Society may help to find a desiredhost clinic. At the most 5 applicants may be placed each year, i.e. one from each Nordic country. Each scholar should present a poster coh a short presentation at the next Nordic Congress. Salary during the fellowships should be provided by the home clinic. The sum awarded is intended to cover travel (economy class) and accommodation expenses for one week (about 5 nights). The choosen fellows are announced on this website during december 2011. Sista ansökningsdatum för Fellowsip 2012 var den 15 november 2011.
Det gäller för en vistelse i en vecka, någon gång under 2012. Målgruppen är ST-läkare och ny specialist/subspecialist. Senast 5 år efter specialistkompetens går det att inkomma med en ansökan. Gäller enbart för klinisk auskultation.
Den sökande skall till föreningens president Erkki Svedström (svedstre@mac.com) insända ett CV, en kortfattad motivering (max 1 A4) samt ett godkännande från verksamhetschefen och mottagande klinik om sådan finns.
Om den sökande inte på egen hand har funnit någon mottagande klinik kan sådan önskas via föreningen. Högst 5st sökande kan beviljas en plats under denna period, dvs en från respektive land. Det finns en redovisningsskyldighet för den som får stipendiet till nästkommande kongress i form av ett kort föredrag eller en poster. Tjänstledigt med lön från moderkliniken förutsätts. Summan som utdelas avser att täcka resa (i ekonomiklass) samt övernattningskostnad för en vecka (cirka 5 nätter). Utannonsering sker via föreningens hemsida av de som får ett stipendium sig tilldelat i december månad samt via president Erkki Svedström. |
